18kt Gold Jules Renaud Open-face Minute-repeater Watch, no. 5110, arabic numeral enameled dial with sunk seconds and blued-steel spade hands, stem-wind, stem-set, Côtes de Genève-decorated movement with wolf's tooth winding, lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, repeating on two hammers on two gongs, triple signed, dia. 47 mm, 73g.

Provenance: The estate of David G. Newsom.

Note: The Jules A. Renaud firm was active in Geneva in the first half of the 20th century and produced limited series of high quality watches that focused on the North American market.

winding setting and ticking at time of cataloging, clean dial, repeating functioning functioning as intended but seems to be a minute off. Tested at 12:58. Back has monogram "F.M.M."
